The Union for Reform Judaism’s Campaign for Youth Engagement (CYE) aims to imbue youth programs with the CYE’s core methodology of “inspired engagement” in order to bring about a revitalized and fortified Reform movement as a whole. The CYE addresses all aspects of youth engagement, including programming, facilities, and adult leaders and youth educators development. With such a vital and aspirational vision, it is critical for us to develop an effective and sustainable funding model. From the start, Andrea has undertaken the CYE with positivity, unique strategic acumen and a holistic approach to leveraging the intricacies of our internal operations and the external environment for optimal fundraising. In a remarkably short period of time, my team and I have already seen positive results and we feel incredibly optimistic about our partnership with Social Profit Ventures.

It is the rare consultant who is able to quickly and accurately analyze a nonprofit’s development operation, make meaningful recommendations that both allow the organization to see immediate results while also positioning it for long-term fundraising success, and become a trusted advisor and coach to team members, including the staff and key lay leaders. Andrea manages to do it all — and with a smile. In the short time that we’ve worked with her, Andrea has helped us refine our development work and begin a shift to more sustainable fundraising practices. She also has provided critical training and coaching for our team. In short, Andrea has made an enormous difference by empowering the AVODAH staff to fundraise more effectively. We are greatly appreciative of her efforts and would strongly recommend her to others.

Andrea is the full package: smart, relatable, flexible — she brings vision and execution. Working on our annual campaign, Andrea was somehow able to do the impossible: please all of the people all of the time. Board members and junior staff, jaded by development initiatives of the past, welcomed Andrea’s guidance and methodology.
